Vehicle Description:

What a great looking piece of Classic American Iron!! This is an very rare 2 Dr Coupe model 400 with a newer black paint job, it has new shocks, it runs and drives great, the transmission shifts fine and the car really is in decent condition. We took the car in trade to help somebody out who needed more of an everyday 4 Door Family car. 1968 is the first year of the 350 V8 (which it does have) with only 83k miles and it the motor runs strong and sounds great due to a new Flow-Master exhaust system. The true dual exhaust has an awesome "Rumble" to it. This Black on Black Beauty is definitely guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go! And for such little money too! The body is decent shape and was done over filling any old rust spots and dents. The paint on the roof has some blemishes and chips as we tried to show in the picture. The car has plenty of paint that has not been buffed or rubbed out yet. It looks good now but with a wet sand and buff most of the waviness would be gone as well. Its not a show paint job but it is presentable. - The trunk floor has the traditional rust holes in the front corners where the body connects to the frame as the pictures show and the previous owner states that the floor has been patched already. The car does have rust that most buyers would probably want to repair and that is why the car is being Sold As-Is. The drivers seat is torn and separated as the picture shows and the previous owner eliminated the original carpets. It does have the optional Tissue Holder under the dash which is rare option. We know the radio does not work but we have not checked into it, the antennae is relocated to the trunk, but the lights, heat and most of the accessories work. - Take a good look at the pictures of the chrome, it is original and not redone and it has pitting with some corrosion. - The car was recently registered in the state of Connecticut and was driven currently by the last owner. This is the perfect car for the hobbyist because the car is really all there. It just needs some rust repair, a little TLC, a new emblem or two and a good wet sanding and buff. We normally specialize in Foreign Cars and this car really isn't our thing. So take advantage and treat yourself to a great looking American Classic for a great "blow out" price & that will most likely go up in value!! ===== **** WE HAVE VERY COMPETITIVE FINANCING AVAILABLE ON SITE **** AND WE PRIDE OURSELVES ON MAKING YOUR AUTOMOBILE PURCHASE AN ENJOYABLE ONE!!
